From a very early age, I knew I was destined to be a doctor, a teacher. I fulfilled that destiny by graduating from The University of Dayton with a Bachelor’s in Pre-Medical Studies and Human Biology, completing a Doctorate in Chiropractic from the National College of Chiropractic in 1994.
As any doctor knows, true education begins when you begin practicing. I spent the first years in integrative practices with the allopathic community, learning both the strengths and weaknesses of that model as well as finding my place within my own. In 1996, I opened my own practice called Optimal Health Chiropractic Clinic.
Throughout my 25+ years of practice, I always held true to the principle of “Take care of your patients, and they will take care of you.” It was from this principle I was able to build a referral-based practice with a 3-12 month waiting list, and in 2003, bring into creation “The Optimal Wellness Center,” a Center for holistic healing.
As I continued following my heart, the intuitive knowing within fully began to blossom, and with it, the power to speak truth and heal: undeniable miracles began to occur, not just through my hands but through the presence, I was giving my life to be. I began spontaneous speaking in front of audiences, giving birth to a series of inspirational teachings. These talks continued until 2011 when I spoke the book that would later be called The Practice. It would become the foundation for The Practice Heals. The miracles continue to happen to this day and on a grander and grander scale.
I now wish only to share all that I have learned and proved heals, transforming life for the better: to give this gift of health and healing – what I know to be a basic creative right – to the world.
Through these two platforms, Heart Healthy Homes and The Practice Heals, I leave behind a legacy of love and healing for those who will come after, for many, many, years.
